Reasons for taking postgraduate exams:

四、复习难点:

用英语:打招呼与自我介绍,询问与回答物品的数量和颜色,对教师发出指令的动作回答,用完整的句子介绍和描述自己的物品,使用特殊和一般疑问句提问问题,询问别人的年龄和介绍自己的年龄,用完整的句子询问和表述物品的方位。

五、复习方法:

1. 强化单词、句子的认读。一年级以听说为主,单词句子的认读是一个难点。在复习阶段,单词的认读可以沿用平日渗透字母及读音的方法,将三会单词(会听,会说,会读)归类,如:b开头的:book boy box blue等,d开头的:doll dog door等;运用小游戏,如单词大变身、滚雪球等。句子的认读主要,利用指读总结的复习卷、进行书面练习来进行强化。

2. 滚动所学知识。通过每节课的自我介绍和提问滚动所学知识,将知识串成串,让学生在复习的时候不会觉得陌生。

英语没准备,被拒

“虽说我才毕业,可其实我也工作快一年了。”小橘如是说。去年8月左右,她开始在微创实习。说是刚毕业的新鲜人,其实职场经验亦有1年。大四刚开学,周围的同学都蠢蠢欲动,为求职而开始做准备———找实习。四周的空气一下子变得焦躁不安起来,小橘也按捺不住,加入找实军。“很多招聘网站上都会实习职位,看到有合适的职位就投简历。”

也就是那个时候,小橘看到了微创招实习生的项目,便把简历投了过去。“刚开始找工作,根本没有经验。”小橘回忆,她没有做什么准备就“出发”了。微创招聘实习生的过程是一轮笔试外加3轮面试。“听着有些夸张哦,实习生也面试3轮。但招正式员工,会有7轮。”

过程多,但效率却很高。笔试很简单,大部分应征的人都通过了。小橘挺享受笔试,“有技术部分,还有英语部分,都不难。第三部分是我最喜欢的智力题。”微软考核,以奇怪的智力题出名,微创是微软和上海市政府合作企业,是否也有这特点?“还好,都是较正常智力题。”

笔试通过一周后,小橘接到面试电话。第一轮面试考的是技术,面试官是微创“TechLead-er”,经过风平浪静。“出来没多久,HR就会告诉你过没过。如果没过,你就直接可以回去了。过了,就告诉你下一场面试的时间和地点。”同一天下午,小桔通过一面进入二面。“二面是职位再高一点的人,问一些个人情况,并不难。”与一面一样,二面的结果很快就会告诉候选人。“当天下午我就进行三面了,但是正式员工的面试没这么快。”进入三面,小橘初尝败北的滋味:“栽在英语上了。”

三面是技术部门的Manager全英文面试。毫无准备的小橘在听到Manager让她用英语做自我介绍时就懵了。“一下子就傻了。我根本没准备英语的自我介绍,只好硬着头皮把中文的自我介绍现场翻译成英语。”效果可想而知。磕磕巴巴的英语一句一句往外蹦,小橘心中暗叹没戏了。“光看那个Manager的表情就知道肯定选不上了。听我作介绍的时候,他忍不住就边打哈欠边拿手机看时间。”

微创又招人,再来

微创三面给了小橘深刻的教训。一个月后,微创再次招实习生,她又整装待发,再次出击。“我重新经历了一轮笔试和3轮面试。”小橘没有因为第一次的失败而垂头丧气,也没有觉得从头再来很难为情,她只是觉得这样很适合自己的实习机会非常难得,不应该随便放弃。

那个暑假上海非常热,“每天为实习工作的事奔忙,真的很辛苦。”当初的辛苦,小橘历历在目。“晚上回到宿舍,没有空调,热得睡不好,干脆都睡地上了。白天,顶了大太阳,出去笔试、面试,还得穿套装,行动很不方便。”千军万马过独木桥,容不得疏忽,小橘自然不放过重来的机会。事实证明,吸取教训再来是正确的。

笔试和第一轮第二轮面试,顺利通过。捱到第三轮,“这次的面试和第一次有点不同,因为人太多了,Manager实在来不及一个一个面试,所以改成集体面试。”包括小橘在内的6个候选人一并面对一个Manager。“还是英语的自我介绍,这回因为有准备了,所以说得比较顺。”6个人挨个儿用英语介绍自己。介绍完之后,Manager提问,其余5个候选人也要提问。如此一来,气氛就比较轻松。“我在自我介绍时提到我很喜欢溜冰,就有人问我有关溜冰的问题。”小橘也向其他候选人问了问题,“表现太沉默自然不好,所以也提了一些关于别人兴趣爱好的问题。”

面试过程中,小橘“有惊无险”地被吓了一跳。“非常巧,第二次应聘时,三面的那个Manager就是第一次遇到的那个。”时隔1个月,面人无数的Manager居然还记得小橘,让她大大吃了一惊。“Manager突然就问我,是不是以前来面试过。我愣了一下,很不好意思,但是还是老实告诉他,一个月前确实来过。”Man-ager用微笑回应了小橘的坦白,继续问她之后是否有找其他工作。“我就老实告诉他,有。但是,想来想去还是觉得微创各方面都很好,抱着宁缺毋滥的想法又投了微创。”

工作氛围好,坚持

这回小橘通过了,成了微创北美在线技术支持部门的一名实习生。“我很高兴获得这个实习机会,更让人高兴的是,微创给了我们实习生正式员工的工作。”小橘最怕的是名为实习其实不过让你做些复印打杂的工作,无法真正接触业务。“微创是把我们当正式员工用了。”不过实习生毕竟不同于有经验的人,小橘进入微创后,马上接受了为期3个星期的培训,内容包括技术、英语、工作软件运用等等。

3个星期后,她正式上岗,“边做边学,不懂的就问。”部门的同仁大部分都是同龄人,且以复旦、交大的毕业生居多,“大家都是年轻人,都是师兄师姐的感觉,特别亲切。”一些基础管理岗位的负责人,也只是毕业3-4年的年轻人。“所以人际关系很简单,没人会去钩心斗角,有什么不懂,他们也乐于教你,做事很开心。”

“我不是个喜欢上班闲的人,不愿意上班看看网页,用MSN聊天。这份实习,内容很充实。而且我也不喜欢单纯的编码的技术工作,所以这份在线技术支持工作很适合我。”加上工作环境好,小橘希望能留下。“我知道实习表现好可以转正。工作自然卖力。”4个月后,微创给了小橘Offer。“没有特别找我谈话,然后给Offer,因为平时领导就一直会时不时和我们做沟通,类似绩效考核的谈话吧。&rdqu

各种拒绝理由,教训

就小橘拿到微创的Offer而言,中间有波折,但实习到转正的过程还是比较顺利的。“其实,实习期间也在找别的工作,毕竟实习未必一定能留下来。”简历投了很多,被拒绝的经验也就丰富起来。

在微创实习前,小橘还找到一家张江高科技园区某通讯公司的实习。“当时面试已经过了,HR让我第二天就去上班。”偏偏第二天我有另外一个面试,所以小橘和对方商量,能否稍稍延迟开始实习的时间。“但是,对方很着急用人,不肯作任何延迟,另外找了我一个同学去做实习。而那同学其实之前已被他们刷掉了。”

【关键词】初中英语 教学“五步教学法”

随着英语教学新思维、新概念的不断发展,我国英语教学方法由传统的语法教学法向功能交际法转变。中学英语教学由传统模式-即以教师为中心的主体教学模式向以学生为中心的主体教学新模式的转变。五步教学法的指导教学极大地推动了我国中学英语教学,使之上了一个新台阶。笔者从复习(Revision),介绍(Presentation),操练(Practice),练习(Practice) 和巩固 (Consolidation)五个步骤来阐述自己的一些教学观点:

一、复习(Revision)已教过的语言材料

学习外语需要有个过程,需要逐步理解和吸收。学习英语首先碰到的问题就是遗忘。为防止遗忘,就需要复习。复习的作用是“温故知新”,帮助学生回忆所学的语言项目,强化记忆,并对所学的知识加深理解,总结规律,发现问题及时加以解决。此外对于练习不够、理解不深透或是疏漏的方面,及时加以弥补,以便使所学的知识和技能更加完善和熟练。只有帮助学生复习好、巩固好已学的知识,才能顺利地进行下一步,即介绍新的语言项目。

复习的内容不外乎日常交际用语、语音、语法、词汇以及所学的语言材料。

复习的形式也有多种。可以是笔头检查或口头检查,以解决普遍存在的问题。也可用测试方式、听写方式或检查作业的方式等等。复习的方法也很多。有帮助记忆的,比如:归纳、图解、表演、借助实物或图片等。这些都可以加深印象,帮助记忆。另外,还有为新课铺路,以旧引新、承上启下的方法;提问的方法,如:连珠炮似的提问(Question bombardment)、连锁操练(Chain drill)等等。

在复习时教师要善于抓住学生学习中薄弱的环节,并注意教会学生怎么复习。教师的作用如前所述是位强化记忆者。帮助学生加深印象,巩固、记忆所学的知识,并掌握复习的方法。教师要重视这一步骤,尽量搞得生动、活泼、有趣,同时也要根据班内学生的具体情况,掌握适时适度,以便达到良好的复习效果。

二、介绍新语言项目Presentation)

教师在介绍新的语言项目时,首先要使学生弄清楚新语言项目的意思及其结构形式。教师要明确各单元各课的教学重点。教师教学用书在每课书中均列出了新的语言项目(New language items),提出了一会至四会的不同要求,并提供了许多教学的建议。在分课教学建议中,介绍新的语言项目,一般在第2步或第3步。其中提出了各种具体的处理建议,如利用黑板、实物、图片、简笔画、手势动作、录音带或创造情景等等。还可以用唱歌、朗诵等其它方法创造情景,介绍新的语言项目。

在介绍新的语言项目这一步骤中,教师是一位讲解员,也是一位示范表演者(Demonstrator)。教师的讲解和表演越清楚生动,给学生留下的印象越深刻,要使学生处于轻松愉快、跃跃欲试的学习状态。教师可利用上述各种方法,创造情景,用英语清楚而自然地介绍新的语言项目,能很快地使学生理解其意思。

三、操练 (drill)

操练主要是指各种机械形式的言语训练活动。在操练活动中,教师严格控制语言,学生没有或很少有自己灵活选择的余地。操练的目的是使学生熟悉语言形式或结构,学生反复说,正确模仿教师所说的话,直到不要教师的帮助能够脱口而出,完全记住为止。

操练的形式和方法有多种,但最常见的是跟着教师或录音重复(oral repetition)。还有以下几种组织课堂教学的方法:分排或分行练习(Row or team practice)、两人小组练习(Pair work)、小组活动(Group work)、从后往前连锁操练(Back chain drill)等等。

四、练 习 (Practice)

这一步骤的主要目的是在前几步所学知识和技能的基础上,特别是紧接着前面操练(Drill)的基础上,集中训练语言的熟巧和流利程度,检查前面所学知识的巩固程度与教学效果,培养学生逐步熟练而独立地运用语言地能力。这一步主要是训练流利程度而不仅仅是准确性;练“用”,即用语言表达实际的意义,而不仅仅重复说孤立的句型;学生通过练习尽量试着独立运用语言而不是仅仅依靠老师。这一教学步骤的目的是,通过大量实践使学生把语言知识转化为语言技能,并进行多层次的运用,使这种技能进一步发展为交际能力,从而实现教学大纲所规定的教学目的。

教师在这一步骤中的作用应是监督(Superior)、监听(Listener)和裁判(Referee)。教师的任务是给学生提供尽可能多的实践机会,鼓励他们大胆实践,逐步减少对学生的控制,让他们试着独立地运用语言于实际交际之中。在学生练习时,教师在班上四处走动巡视,辅导,仔细听他们练习,观察情况并适时地给予必要的帮助,鼓励学生根据自己的需要选用语言。同时也是检查前面缉捕教学活动的效果,一旦发现疏忽便及时加以弥补或调整。
