The Journal of Membrane Computing focuses on the theory of membrane computing and its applications in various fields, and is an important branch of biologically inspired computing. The research results published in JMC journals are not limited to membrane computing itself, but also extend to related fields such as evolutionary algorithms, neural computing, reaction systems, DNA computing, etc. Since its establishment, the magazine has published multiple volumes and maintained a high level of paper quality, which has been widely recognized by relevant researchers

The goal of the journal is to promote scientific progress in the field of membrane computing and facilitate the construction of a bridge between theoretical research and practical applications. Journals provide researchers with a platform to share the latest research findings and explore future development directions through publishing original research articles, reviews, short messages, and other forms of papers. In addition, the magazine also focuses on the development of emerging technologies and models, such as models using Transformer structures, which can better handle the global information modeling of raw waveforms and demonstrate superior performance in applications such as speaker recognition.
