Atmospheric Environment-x is an international academic journal focused on the field of atmospheric science, published by Elsevier Press. This magazine is dedicated to publishing original research, reviews, and perspectives related to atmospheric composition and its effects, with the aim of promoting the international scientific community's understanding of atmospheric composition. The journal covers a wide range of topics, including emissions, deposition, chemical processes, physical impacts of gases and particulate matter in the atmosphere, as well as the effects of changes in atmospheric composition on human health, air quality, climate change, and ecosystems.

The magazine pays special attention to policy related scientific research, which will affect the regulation, management, and protection of atmospheric resources, the protection of ecosystems, and human health. The magazine encourages submission of articles describing novel experimental and modeling studies that contribute to a deeper understanding of atmospheric components and elucidate their sources, transport, transformation, and impacts. In addition, the journal also focuses on emerging research areas such as indoor air quality, satellite and remote sensing, human health, and the use of data science to understand the sources, transformations, transmission, and impacts of atmospheric components.
