Land is an open access journal with an international perspective and interdisciplinary nature, providing a platform for scholars from around the world to share and discuss research findings in the field of land science. The purpose of the journal is to promote knowledge exchange and academic development in the field of land science, especially in the key areas of land use and land change, land management, and land systems science.

The journal covers everything from basic research on soil, sediment, and water systems to urban and rural interactions in the context of urbanization, and the complex relationship between land and climate. These topics are important for understanding the impact of human activities on the environment, achieving sustainable management of land resources and responding to global change. Scientists are encouraged to publish detailed reviews and research papers, whether theoretical or experimental, which seek to demonstrate research processes, methods and results in detail.
