Medeniyet Medical Journal

Medeniyet Medical Journal (MMJ), also known as the Journal of Civilized Medicine, is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Istanbul Civilized University School of Medicine. This journal follows the principles of independence, impartiality, and double-blind review, and is published in English. It is issued four times a year in March, June, September, and December, covering various academic disciplines in the field of medicine.

MMJ's predecessor was the G ö ztepe Medical Journal, which began publication in 1985 and was renamed Medeniyet Medical Journal in 2015. Since its renaming, MMJ has been committed to integrating science with daily life, addressing current issues at the national and international levels, sparking debates, and influencing global decision-makers. This journal publishes interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary clinical, experimental, and basic research, as well as original case reports, reviews, invited reviews, or letters to editors.
