Eye And Brain is an international peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal focused on basic research, clinical findings, and expert reviews in the fields of vision science and neuroophthalmology. The journal is unique in highlighting the importance of the connection between the eye and the brain, and the role of the eye as a window on neurodegenerative diseases.

The journal covers a wide range of topics, from the cornea to the associated visual cortex and all visual centers in between. Research ranges from basic biological mechanisms to treatments, from simple organisms to humans, using techniques from molecular biology to behavioral science. Original research articles or review papers that highlight the link between the eye and the brain are especially welcome.
