As an interdisciplinary international forum, the International Regional Science Review provides a valuable platform for economists, geographers, planners, and other social scientists to share important research findings and methodological breakthroughs. This journal aims to promote the development of regional science by publishing key interdisciplinary survey articles that not only summarize and evaluate previous research, but also identify promising directions for future research.

The magazine pays special attention to theoretical, methodological, and public policy issues centered around spatial or regional dimensions. It encourages scholars to conduct empirical research to solve complex problems in the real world and promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation. Through this approach, journals not only provide new perspectives and methods for academic research, but also provide scientific basis for formulating more effective public policies.
