Progress in Reaction Kinetics and Mechanism is an academic journal focused on the field of chemical reaction kinetics and reaction mechanisms, which provides a platform for chemists, chemical engineers and researchers in related fields to share the latest research results. The journal covers the study of the kinetics and mechanisms of gaseous chemical processes, which are fundamental to understanding chemical reaction rates and pathways and have important implications for optimizing chemical reaction processes.

The journal focuses not only on gas reactions, but also on kinetic analysis of simple and complex chemical systems, including but not limited to chemical reactions in solution, surface catalyzed reactions, enzyme-catalyzed reactions, and biochemical processes.
