Since its inception in 2011, "Natural Products Bulletin" (NPB) has become an important academic platform in the field of natural product research. The journal is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and co-hosted by the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Science and Technology Publishing & Media Co., Ltd., aiming to build a professional journal with international influence.

The goal of NPB is not only to become a journal with significant influence in the field of natural products but also to serve as an important venue for researchers to share and publish research findings and exchange scientific ideas. The journal focuses on fast and effective academic communication, providing a window for researchers worldwide to showcase innovative discoveries and in-depth insights.

The journal mainly focuses on the latest developments and hot topics in the field of natural product chemistry and related biology, covering a wide range of themes from basic research to applied development. The types of articles published are diverse, including original research papers, review articles, and news comments, aiming to fully reflect the scientific research trends and academic discussions in this field.
